After frequently doing the DJ thing in this fine nation of ours, Andy Butler is finally bringing his Hercules and Love Affair to Canada as a full eight-piece live band. The DFA disco revivalist will hit both Toronto and Montreal on October 17 and 18, respectively, as he embarks on a dance-inducing North American tour.
The live dates still come in support of the groups debut full-length and best-of-2008 favourite, Hercules and Love Affair. The albums latest single, the Nomi-sung "You Belong, hit shops a little while back and features "a breathtaking set of mixes including Riton, Kevin Sanderson and a stunning Hercules Club Mix, [which] are all designed to get your ass on that dance floor, according to the band. And were assuming the live show will have the same goal.
