While they still haven't released their long-delayed Is, Vancouver pop crew Hey Ocean! have been keeping busy with Canadian tours and the stopgap EP Big Blue Wave. Now, the title track from that EP has received a quirky video.
The side-scrolling clip is every bit as bubbly as the pop-rocking song itself. Set against a plain white background on a studio sound stage, the band perform the tune in a variety of brightly coloured clothes and costumes while a slew of extras dance, play instruments, and generally have fun. Buzz-worthy rapper Shad makes a cameo at around the 1:35 mark. (He dropped a guest verse on the band's 2008 album It's Easier to Be Somebody Else.)
According to a previous update from Nettwerk Records, Hey Ocean! recently inked a deal with Universal.
