Vancouver pop outfit Hey Ocean!'s album IS came out close to two years ago, but they're still promoting it, and they just unveiled a video for the opening track, "If I Were a Ship."
The video, which was directed by Katie Maren Nelson, emphasizes the low-key, cuddly atmosphere of the tinkling pop tune. It mixes DIY stop-motion animation with shadow puppetry, and the band members show up as 2-D cutouts in an underwater landscape.
