Hospitality Announce Sophomore LP

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Oct 21, 2013

Two years removed from the release of Hospitality's self-titled debut LP, the Brooklyn indie-pop trio have announced that they're back, and apparently up to no good. A sophomore set titled Trouble is set to hit stores January 28 via Merge Records.

Not much has been revealed about the conception of the LP, but a small write-up from Merge suggests that the record was written following the band's year-long travels in support of their self-titled set. The press release also hints that Hospitality "has evolved from four-track low-fidelity to a luxury five-star future."

Though a tracklisting has yet to be unveiled, a quick album trailer offers a sneak preview of an unidentified track featuring a pulsing, '80s-era drum machine pound and crystalline piano chords. You can check out said sounds and a series of swirling, psychedelic visuals in the video player down below.

Merge promises that more info will be on the way shortly.
