As if his work with Lunice in the ever-hyped TNGHT project weren't enough, UK production whiz Hudson Mohawke will reach an even wider audience as a collaborator on Kanye West's highly anticipated G.O.O.D. Music crew album Cruel Summer.
Mohawke, who was already confirmed to have added some instrumentation to the album's booming lead single "Mercy," revealed on Twitter that he lent production to album opener "To the World." The epic track features vocals from West and R. Kelly.
"R.Kelly and Kanye over some mohawke n that's just the first trackkk, make sure you get that GOOD Music – Cruel Summer albummm," Mohawke tweeted.
A 90-second snippet of the track can be heard below, and while we haven't heard the whole thing, it's safe to say that we wouldn't mind it if Mohawke became a highly sought-after rap producer.
UPDATE: You can now listen to the entire track below.
Cruel Summer will be available on September 18 via Def Jam/G.O.O.D. Music.
