Humans

Technical glitches and sound problems seriously hampered Vancouver duo Humans from living up to their party-starting rep. Not that the pair weren't game, though. Hitting the stage in a haze of glitter from the night's previously glammed-up rockers, the duo disguised themselves under gaudy-looking sheets before revealing themselves to the crowd. But momentum eluded them on this night, thanks in part to some glaring on stage lights that the venue was unable (or unwilling) to turn off and complaints of bad sound. The problem exacerbated by several stoppages due to misbehaving equipment (water was either spilled or thrown on their gear at one point). The crowd, eager to boogie down on a Friday night, took the issues in stride, dancing the night away. But the frustration could be seen on Humans' faces, as it was obvious this wasn't how they had hoped to make their CMW debut.
