Hunx and His Punx

Hunx and His Punx's Pop Montreal performance was vivacious, to say the least. Outfitted like flamboyant circus performers, the five-piece bounced on stage, and proceeded to verbally assault the crowd with their trashy, queer appropriation of early '60s girl pop. Front-man Hunx, also of electro outfit Gravy Train!!!!, flitted about in front of the crowd, yelling outlandish expletives between his whiny vocals, while his Punx looked on with smiles. But don't get the wrong impression - this band may seem inaccessible, but their intentional outlandish behaviour is part of the fun. Their show was hysterically funny, passionate and wholly entertaining.
