When an artist has a rise as meteoric as Ice Spice, it's natural to expect that they'll face pressure to ride the momentum and put out an album ASAP. Despite a steady stream of singles and last year's Like...? EP (which Exclaim! named one of the Best of 2023), the Bronx rapper has yet to drop her full-length debut — but it's finally happening.
UPDATE (6/5, 12:24 p.m. ET): Ice Spice has now also announced a world tour! Big day to be an Ice Spice fan. Find her full itinerary — which includes a lone Canadian stop at Toronto's History on August 11 — below. Tickets go on sale Friday (June 7), with various presales happening tomorrow (June 6).
Ice Spice's long-teased Y2K! album will be released on July 26 through 10K Projects / Capitol Records. She took to Instagram to share the news, as well as the very New York City album artwork. You can check that out below.
Back in April, it was announced that Ice Spice would make her acting debut in Spike Lee's reinterpretation of the classic Akira Kurosawa crime thriller, High and Low.
