Just over three years on from releasing their debut album, Ice Cream have detailed their sophomore effort.
The Toronto duo will release new album FED UP on November 15. Eight tracks in length, the album is said to lyrically focus on "the pressures of living under late capitalism and the male gaze" while borrowing from the worlds of pop, electronic, classic rock and R&B.
Alongside the announcement, Ice Cream have shared new single "Modern Life," which you can hear in the player below. Previously released single "Peanut Butter" also appears in the tracklist.
"'Modern Life' focuses around the frustrations that come from living a metropolitan existence," the duo's Amanda Crist explained in a statement. "How the exploitation of the capitalist system can become so consuming and restrictive, living as an authentic human, can seem like a challenge."
