It's a good day to be an Ice Cube fan, apparently. Following this morning's (March 24) outer-space set "Ain't That Funkin' Kinda Hard on You" video with Funkadelic and Kendrick Lamar, the Compton rapper has now unveiled a new tune with Common. The former beef-slingers have premiered a team-up from the Barbershop: The Next Cut soundtrack called "Real People."
A feel-good cut, it features a friendly bump, AutoTune-touched vocal hooks and positive-minded verses. Ice Cube talks about passing bud to bloods, quashing old beef to hug it out, and more. Common addresses the two rappers' '90s-era problems with each other, but reports that those days are long gone.
At the end of the day, they're just two real people, it'd seem.
You'll find the pair's joint effort below, while Barbershop: The Next Cut hits theatres April 15.
