Iceage

'NYC 1/25-26/13' (mini-doc)

While Iceage are heading to North America later this month to support their You're Nothing LP, the Danish post-punks managed to hit up our continent back in January too. In case you couldn't make it out to the pair of New York dates, the trip has been preserved in a newly premiered mini-doc titled NYC 1/25-26/13.

The clip, directed by Los Angeles artist Cali Thornhill Dewitt (aka this guy), features a magnificent live performance of You're Nothing stunner "Morals," with singer/guitarist Elias Bender Rønnenfelt swinging his scarf around as he moodily moans his way through the ethics-questioning cut.

The video is also intercut with shots of empty subway cars, gulls soaring past the grinning mascot signs at Coney Island and vacant lots. You can see it below.

Iceage play Vancouver's Biltmore Cabaret on March 20 and head out to Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal in June.
