Infinite Embrace

Champagne Sunset

This record by female duo Infinite Embrace demonstrates classic house via the styles of the vocalists. However, it’s still low-key and smooth in a way that would be enjoyable to your parents as well as yourself, helped along by the saxophone work of Casey Benjamin. Though difficult to distance a tenor saxophone from some of the boring soft jazz elements regularly associated with the instrument, Benjamin paints bright colours into the house rhythms. With well-financed production, these tracks would sound gold even amongst some somewhat cheesy elements. At the basis of the music is major potential for tweaking. An added remix CD by NYC DJ Victor Sanchez features eight remixes split between the two singles "Fire In The Sky” and "After Hours.” The vocals on this album are powerful and deep, the two singers communicating with unique and integrative styles.
