Last month, holy terror hardcore vets Integrity announced they would soon follow up their 2010 LP The Blackest Curse with a new set dubbed Suicide Black Snake, and now the band have revealed a few more details about the album.
A press release confirms that the LP will feature 10 new songs, including recently premiered track "Beasts as Gods," which you can stream in the player down below. As previously reported, the full-length was put together by founder/vocalist Dwid Hellion and studio collaborator Robert Orr.
"Orr brings a new dynamic to Integrity; he's aggressively surprising while still being able to blend the old sound into modern times without sounding contrived," Hellion said in a statement. "The new song direction was based entirely off the music that Orr and I listen to, and what we feel we would like to hear, but is not being made. This has always been the essence of Integrity."
The band have also unveiled the suitably creepy artwork for the platter, delivered by Hellion himself. As you can see in the image up above, it finds the band's familiar distressed text logo resting above some sort of bat-barfing skeleton.
"The album artwork is a representation of the many avenues that we have traveled musically and aesthetically" Hellion explained. "I hope that the imagery can help expand the experience to our audience."
Suicide Black Snake slithers into stores June 11 via A389 Recordings/Magic Bullet.
