The case against Hedley frontman Jacob Hoggard has now been put over until October, following a previous delay earlier this year.
As previously reported, 34-year-old Hoggard was arrested in July and charged with sexual interference and two counts of sexual assault causing bodily harm. In August, his case was put over until September, but after a brief court hearing today in Toronto, the case was once again delayed, now until October 10.
Hoggard did not appear in court today, but he was represented by his lawyer Ian Smith.
As previously reported, Hoggard is accused of three separate incidents that allegedly took place in the Toronto area in 2016. They involve a woman and a girl under the age of 16.
These are the first official charges laid against the Hedley singer. Earlier this year, various sexual misconduct allegations surfaced against Hoggard, including rape allegations against the singer brought forward by a 24-year-old Ottawa woman in a CBC article.
Hedley have since gone on indefinite hiatus.
