With good reason, Janelle Monáe freaks out on the dancefloor in the new video clip for previously premiered The Electric Lady shuffle "Dance Apocalyptic."
The singer plays multiple roles in the vid, most notably as the high-energy "Electric Lady," boogieing along with her back-up group and adoring fans on a futuristic Bandstand-style program. In the middle of the clip, we see her as a newscaster fighting off brain-snackin' zombies during an emergency broadcast announcement. Either way, you can find Monáe coping with the end of the world the best she can in the player down below.
As previously reported, The Electric Lady is due September 10 through Bad Boy/Atlantic.
