JAY-Z Teases '4:44' with New Trailers

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jun 28, 2017

JAY-Z is back — complete with all caps and a reinstated hyphen — and set to drop a new album later this week. Before its official arrival, though, the rap star has teased his impending 4:44 project with another trailer.

Details surrounding the album are still pretty vague, though we have been treated to a couple of teaser clips featuring Mahershala Ali. This time, Hova has unveiled a 30-second snippet that features a young man desperately running away from something we can't see, sporting a shirt that reads: "STAY BLACK." A new piece of instrumental music plays in the background.

There's still plenty of room for speculation as to what exactly 4:44 will deliver, but we'll find out for sure when it lands this Friday (June 30) via the new partnership between Tidal and Sprint.

For now, watch the latest trailer below.

UPDATE: JAY-Z has shared another teaser for the album. This one features Lupita Nyong'o and can be viewed below.
