Providing some of the brains behind Fine Mist and International Falls, Vancouver-based multi-instrumentalist and production extraordinaire Jay Arner is slowly getting some well-deserved attention for his myriad projects. To dig into his music, his personal blog is a great place to go. Take, for example, "Don't Remind Me," a brand new track that Arner recently threw together.
Earlier this month, Arner simply wrote, "Here's a song called 'Don't Remind Me.' Recorded yesterday, very quickly!" The track is a rhythmic '60s pop number thickly layered with synths, jangly guitars and comforting vocal harmonies.
