Vancouver indie popsmith Jay Arner is just under a month away from the June 25 release date of his self-titled solo debut for Mint Records, but he'll be celebrating the song cycle a little early via some Canadian tour dates.

Arner has begun to roll out some promotional dates behind the album, kicking things off with a hometown show June 7 at Artbank as part of Music Waste. He also has a pair of Toronto appearances slotted in during NXNE and will head to Calgary's Sled Island to play a label showcase with Renny Wilson and Pick a Piper.

A proper record release takes place June 29 at Vancouver's They Live Video. Apparently more dates are in the works, but you can see the schedule as is down below.

As promised, the artist has also just unveiled a video for previously teased single "Midnight on South Granville." You can check out the clip, which has Arner stroking a kitty and performing board-less tricks in an empty skate park, beneath the show info.
