Jay Reatard is a really nice guy. Just a genuinely good dude. His relationship with Toronto has become oddly legendary (punching a guy at the Silver Dollar, walking off stage after ten songs at Wrongbar), but his behavior has always been pretty reasonable (douchebags in the crowd and unfixable gear problems, respectively). Still, hes become the kind of guy that people try to attach these types of outlandish rock n roll stories to. Its kind of a shame. But hes awesome, and I dont think he cares too much. Except when it makes him KICK DUDES IN THE FACE WHICH RULES.
