Earlier this year, the late and sorely missed punk great Jay Reatard had his doom-ridden punk group Lost Sounds treated to a greatest-hits compilation courtesy of Fat Possum. Now, the band's self-titled debut seven-inch is getting some reissue love as well.
Originally released in 1999 via the Italian imprint Solid Sex Lovie Doll, the record will be getting a fresh release from Goner Records. As a press release indicates, the tracks were remastered from the original tapes and possess "new power and (relative) clarity."
The seven-inch will be available on January 17, while a digital download of the release can be purchased now right here.
Lost Sounds:
1. "Plastic Skin"
2. "Don't Bother Me"
3. "What'd I Say"
4. "Lost and Found"
