On the heels of announcing a number of festival appearances this summer, Jay Z has signed off on a 10-year touring contract with concert promotion giant Live Nation.

"Live Nation and I entered unchartered territory in 2008," the rap icon wrote in a press release. "Over 9 years, we have traveled the world producing historic music experiences. [Live Nation president and CEO] Michael Rapino is an industry visionary, and this renewed partnership is a testament to our longstanding relationship and the talented individuals at Live Nation. For the next 10 years, we will continue redefining the live event landscape."

Jay Z is set to perform at his own Made in America festival, along with Austin City Limits and Queens, NY's Meadows Music and Arts Festival. He's also been at work in the studio on a follow-up to 2013's Magna Carta Holy Grail with the likes of Zaytoven and Swizz Beatz. Whether it's Lemonade response album remains to be seen.
