Following the release of "Pree" to close out his massive 2016, Jazz Cartier revealed that he's hard at work on a new project titled Fleurever. While there's no release date as of yet, the Toronto MC is first out of the gate with another new track in "Tempted."
"Tempted" was produced by T-Minus and Lantz and was premiered on Beats 1 Radio as Zane Lowe's first World Record of 2017. The song makes use of some bouncy drums in the hook which sees Cartier rap about mixing drinks and emotions in the club.
In a short conversation with Lowe, Cartier revealed he hadn't spent much time in the studio as a result of playing 41 dates in the final quarter of 2016, but said he was excited to get back to work. He delivered his last project, Hotel Paranoia, in February of last year.
