Jef Barbara

Jef Barbara hit the stage at Silver Dollar dressed in a suit that looked like a disco ball and I was immediately intrigued. To my delight, Barbara's set lived up to the expectations that his fantastic suit promised. Amidst the colourful lights, smoke machines and resonating synths, Barbara seemed to take the Silver Dollar back in time, to some cheesy disco club. I found myself unconsciously inching closer to the stage throughout the performance, drawn in by Barbara's fantastic stage presence. Not just anyone could pull off Barbara's glamorous persona in an appealing way, but he certainly seems to have found a winning formula.
