Jeff Bridges just released an avant-garde sleep aid album called The Sleeping Tapes, and he brought his meditative vibes to Conan last night (February 5).
While discussing meditation with the host, the actor-musician led the crowd in a lengthy chant of "om." He directed the crowd and the folks onstage in order to keep up a continuous drone. In the end, it turns out to be more funny than relaxing.
He also pulled out an acoustic guitar to play "Somebody Else" from his 2009 film Crazy Heart. He traded off vocals with Conan while supported by the house band, and onetime Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash came out halfway the play a guitar solo.
