Grants performance, with a six-piece band in tow, including two Heavy Blinkers, at a packed Gingers pub revealed an artist fully formed with a storming live show. The next in a long line of East coast talent to record at CBC Halifaxs Studio H, Grant played a set ripe with new gems ("At The Finish Line, "Unique New York) that at times drove like the Arcade Fire fronted by a redheaded Feist. The PEI native may have been the best-kept secret at HPX, but with her debut LP on the horizon, its only a matter of time before the rest of the country knows about her.
