Toronto songwriter Jennifer Castle will drop her album Pink City on September 2 through Idée Fixe Records, and she's shared another cut from the collection with "Sailing Away."
The song is a stripped-down folk ditty with a guitar-centred arrangement that gradually swells with subtle orchestrations and percussion. This provides a tastefully dreamy backdrop for Castle's Joni Mitchell-esque vocal flutters.
