Swedish indie pop singer Jens Lekman just yesterday (June 25) announced a North American tour with Taken By Trees, and one of the song's he may end up performing night after night is "Erica America," off his upcoming I Know What Love Isn't album. As for now, you can watch the singer-songwriter and his crew performing the song in a new video.
There's not much to the video's décor, with Lekman clutching his acoustic six-string in the sullen, empty factory set-up. Thankfully, the tune's swoon-worthy soft rock arrangement, headed by the solo artist's flamenco guitar and a sexy sax solo, fills the room nicely.
As for the fall tour, it seems as if it can't come any sooner. As Lekman brokenheartedly croons of his current condition mid-clip, "summer is exhausting me with its exhaust fumes and empty promises."
As previously reported, I Know What Love Isn't arrives September 4 through Secretly Canadian.
