With Down Under pop-rock outfit the Jezabels' sophomore set The Brink set to arrive next month, the band have now announced they're about to push well past the borders of their mother country for some global touring.
A press release confirms that the Australian combo will head out our way for a headlining tour in the spring. While the trek kicks off in California, a handful of Canadian dates have been mixed into the tour schedule. This includes Western Canadian stops in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton, as well as performances in Montreal and Toronto.
The tour will also have the Jezabels joined by moody, Vancouver-based electro-pop practitioners Gold & Youth, who will be promoting their 2013 effort Beyond Wilderness.
You'll find all the date and venue info down below.
As previously noted, The Brink had the Jezabels working at the famed Abbey Road Studios in London with producer Dan Grech-Marguerat (Lana Del Rey, Radiohead, the Vaccines), apparently during a dark period "self-loathing." You can check out the video for the LP's first single "The End" beneath the tour dates.
The Brink arrives February 18 in Canada through Dine Alone Records.
