The May release date for Jhené Aiko's debut album Souled Out has come and gone with no new release, but that doesn't mean it's not coming. Hot on the heels of her recent OVO Fest performance, the R&B artist has revealed a new due date for the LP.
The album, Aiko's first proper outing, now has an arrival date of September 9. It'll be available via ARTium/Def Jam.
Possibly to prove she's serious this time, Aiko has also let loose the album's cover. A seriously epic, profoundly Photoshopped image, it shows the artist being beamed up to the heavens instead of sinking into a (admittedly nice looking) body of water.
