Jimmy Eat World Take Invented Back Across North America

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 18, 2011

Last year, long-running emo poppers Jimmy Eat World released Invented, an album that re-teamed the Arizona band with producer Mark Trombino. But rather than just rehash past successes, like 1999's Clarity or 2001's Bleed American, the group moved forward with a larger, arena-rock sound. While Jimmy Eat World might not be filling the stadiums, a recently announced tour will have them blasting their way into mid-sized concert halls, which works for us.

The outfit recently announced on their website that they'll be taking off mid-May for a quick North American tour. Those of us in the Great White North just itching to hear "Lucky Denver Mint," "The Middle" or new cuts like "My Best Theory" can catch the quartet in Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg.

As of Wednesday (March 16), fanclub members can buy pre-sale tickets, while the rest of the public can grab tickets Friday morning (March 18). Check out the full tour schedule below.
