Folky favourite Joanna Newsom still hasn't announced a follow-up to 2010's three-LP set Have One on Me, but she busts out some nimble harp plucking and a handful of new outfits in a fashion-minded promo clip supporting L.A.-based clothing house Wren.
The video has Newsom covering late Brit folk icon Sandy Denny's "The North Star Grassman and the Ravens," which is sung softly atop a scenic desert hill. The rest of the vid has Newsom modelling Wren's fall/winter 2013 line of dresses and patterned jumpsuits as she walks past cactus fields and lounges near a pool. The vid also gets a guest appearance from a speckled owl, whom we gather thinks Newsom's a real hoot.
