Thrush Hermit hero Joel Plaskett is heading out on a massive Canadian tour next spring. He'll hit the road mid-April 2020, making stops in 22 cities across the country.
Plaskett has also hinted at the possibility of new music heading our way shortly. He has promised that a yet-to-be-titled record is coming just in time for the tour to commence. So far, no exact date for the album has been determined, but the artist promises tracks featuring the Emergency (Dave Marsh and Chris Pennell) and some unnamed "Halifax, Memphis, Nashville and Toronto" musical friends.
The tour commences in Truro, NS, on April 16, making stops in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal before concluding in Corner Brook, NL, on May 31.
The new release will mark the first since Plaskett's last record Solidarity, which he recorded alongside his father back in 2016.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (November 15) here. Find the full tour schedule below.
