Late last year, Jack White's Third Man Records unveiled a characteristically peculiar project in the form of two singles by actor John C. Reilly, the musically inclined funnyman who starred in the 2007 Johnny Cash send-up Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Now, Reilly has announced plans to bring his music to North American audiences with a brief tour this spring.
Reilly currently has four dates booked, all of them on the West Coast. Following a Los Angeles show this month, he will head to the Pacific Northwest in late May for a couple of gigs prior to his appearance at Sasquatch Music Festival. This brief outing includes a stop at Vancouver's Rio Theatre on May 27.
The show is being billed as John Reilly and Friends, and it will feature Tom Brosseau and Lavender Diamond's Becky Stark, both of whom appeared on Reilly's singles last year.
Tickets for the Vancouver show go on sale tomorrow (February 24) right here. See the schedule below.
Tour dates:
2/28 Los Angeles, CA - Bootleg Theatre
5/26 Portland, OR - Aladdin Theatre
5/27 Vancouver, BC - Rio Theatre
5/28 George, WA - Sasquatch Music Festival
