John Legend

"Who Do We Think We Are" (ft. Rick Ross)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 25, 2013

Chicago R&B singer John Legend hasn't offered up too many details about his impending Love in the Future LP, but already we've got two singles from the ETA-less affair. Following last week's leak of "The Beginning," he's now let loose the Rick Ross-aided "Who Do We Think We Are."

Atop watery, textured guitar strums, heart-fluttering strings and a vocal sample lifted from Jean Knight's "Mr. Big Stuff," Legend croons passionately about a love that keeps him soaring through the stratosphere. Ross works off the template by talking about planes, but also discusses pouring pink champagne for his lady love, while also detailing the fine stitching of his Tom Ford suit. He's a sharp looking guy, that Rozay.

UPDATE: Love in the Future is due out on June 25 via Columbia/G.O.O.D. Music.
