At long last, pop experimenter John Maus is back with his first new album in six years, Screen Memories. As such, the record is available now to stream to your heart's content.
Screen Memories follows 2011's We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves and was recorded by Maus in his Minnesota home over the last few years as he completed his Doctorate of Philosophy in Political Science.
We already heard tracks like opener "The Combine," but you can now hear all of Screen Memories for yourself below.
In addition to Screen Memories, Maus will release a career-spanning vinyl box set in the week of April 16, 2018. The package collects all his released works on coloured wax, in addition to a second new LP titled Addendum, the vinyl version of which is limited to the box.
As previously reported, Maus has a North American tour coming up in support of the new album. You can see all the dates here.
For now, though, lose yourself in some Screen Memories.
