It's been a big year for baritone-voiced lo-fi electro popper John Maus, what with the release of his recent We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves and the mini-furor he started after dissing record stores. Regardless of whether its to promote his album or assert some damage control over his statements, the Haunted Graffiti alum will be keeping up the momentum this fall via a mini-tour.
Maus has announced a handful of dates that see him pumping up crowds with his minimalist, arpeggiated synth jams. He will play Canada twice, stopping by Toronto and Montreal. You can check out the schedule below.
We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves is out now on Ribbon Music.
Tour dates:
9/28 Chicago IL - Empty Bottle
9/30 Toronto ON - The Drake Hotel
10/2 Montreal QC - Il Motore
10/3 Annandale-on-Hudson NY - Bard College
10/4 Philadelphia PA - Johnny Brenda's
10/6 Oberlin OH - Oberlin College
10/28-30 Asheville NC - Moogfest
