Electronic composer Jon Hopkins is set to drop his latest LP Immunity next week, but you can preview it right here before its proper release.
The UK musician may have got his start producing and collaborating with acts like Brian Eno and Coldplay, but established himself with solo releases like 2009's Insides and the soundtrack to British sci-fi film Monsters.
A press release describes the new LP as a "powerful, multi-faceted beast, packed with the most aggressively dancefloor-focused music Hopkins has ever made." If there's an overarching theme on the record, it's "about achieving euphoric states through music."
Recorded using analog synthesis and manipulated "real world sounds," Immunity seeks to deliver natural, "unforced" dance music, offering plenty of twists and turns to keep your attention throughout.
The album arrives on June 4 via Domino Records, but you can give it a listen right now below.
UPDATE: This stream was available for one week only and is no longer available.
