After writing the score for Cameron Crowe's recent family flick We Bought a Zoo, Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi has been confirmed to score Crowe's next film as well.
Details are scarce, but The Playlist got in touch with Crowe via email, who confirmed the collaboration. "Yep, it's with Jónsi," the director wrote.
Little else is known about the film, but it has been described as a comedy influenced by golden age director Preston Struges. "There's only one Preston Sturges," Crowe was quick to defend. "He's always an inspiration though and this one's a comedy in that spirit."
For now, that's all we know, but Jónsi's We Bought a Zoo soundtrack is still worth some spins. Check out the video for the album track "Gathering Stories" below.
