Dutch lute player Jozef Van Wissem is perhaps best known for his experimental work with Jim Jarmusch, but he's got a solo album called It Is Time for You to Return due out on December 2 through Crammed Discs. Now, he's stoking his fans' anticipation by releasing a video for "You Can't Take It with You."
In the muted-looking clip, directed by William Lacalmontie, we see Van Wissem dressed in priestly garb while plucking his lute and delivering the chant-like vocals. The visuals are simple, but the black and white images, out-of-focus camera work and curious angles give it a cryptic flavour.
