Split between pastoral and paved settings, Julianna Barwick's new video for dreamy Nepenthe single "One Half" lets the ambient artist explore the separate sides of herself.
In one scene, the musician stands still in an almost-empty parking lot, but after quickly closing and opening her eyes, we see her munching fresh blueberries in an open field. It might not be as idyllic as first imagined, as Barwick eventually goes H.A.M. on a florae-adorned cake sculpture with a ceremonial knife, and things get even more confusing once a Shyamalan-styled twist brings both worlds together.
You might not fully understand what's going on, but you can check out "One Half" in the player down below.
As previously reported, Nepenthe arrives August 20 through Dead Oceans.
