Justin Bieber came under fire from PETA for his ridiculous fur coat earlier this week, and now the Canadian pop star has landed himself in trouble with Argentinian authorities.

The Biebs has been indicted on charges for allegedly sending his bodyguards to beat up a photographer, then allegedly stealing his money and gear, in Buenos Aires back in 2013.

TMZ is reporting that Bieber's lawyers intend to appeal the charges, but until the case is settled, Bieber could be arrested if he returns to Argentina. He currently has South American shows scheduled for 2017, though none of the dates land him directly in Argentina.

According to one of TMZ's Bieber sources, "The judge is screwing his own country because Justin could infuse a huge amount of money into the economy."

According to the Associated Press, Judge Alberto Banos did not issue an arrest warrant. A previous warrant related to the same incident was revoked in 2015.

Buenos Aires isn't the only town Bieber's been caught punching people in; earlier this year, he socked a fan in the face from his limo window in Barcelona.
