Last week, Justin Bieber shared that he'd been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a relatively rare neurological disorder that causes facial paralysis.

That came after Bieber postponed several shows, including two stops in Toronto, citing health concerns. And now, Bieber has postponed the remainder of his US dates for the Justice World Tour as he continues to recover.

Bieber was set to appear through early July in Las Vegas, New York and Inglewood, CA, throughout early July. Rescheduled dates have yet to be announced, as it's unknown how long Bieber will require to regain full control of his face.

Ramsay Hunt syndrome is caused by the chickenpox virus, and can live dormant in the facial nerves long after recovery from chickenpox or shingles. Without proper treatment, there's a risk of permanent facial muscle weakness and deafness, as the affected nerve is often located at the ear. In a video shared by Bieber on Instagram last week, it was clear that the right side of the pop star's face was partially paralyzed.

Social media accounts for Milwaukee music festival Summerfest, where Bieber was set to appear next week, issued a statement from tour promoter AEG Presents saying: "Justin continues to receive the best medical care possible, is upbeat about his recovery, and is looking forward to getting back out on the road and performing for his fans overseas later this summer."
