​Justin Bieber Gets Engaged to Hailey Baldwin

Apparently Justin Bieber will be the next teen pop sensation to get hitched. He reportedly proposed to his back on-again girlfriend Hailey Baldwin over the weekend.
 
According to TMZ, the Canadian pop star proposed to the model on Saturday night (July 7) in the Bahamas. Bieber and Baldwin were at a restaurant enjoying some salsa dancing, when the singer asked everyone to put away their phones. He then got down on one knee and proposed.
 
The next day, Baldwin was seen sporting a pretty hefty rock on her left ring finger.
 
Until last month, the 21-year-old model had been romantically linked to another Canadian pop heartthrob — Shawn Mendes.
 
The freshly reunited couple of Baldwin and Bieber has yet to issue any official statement on the engagement, but their parents seem pretty stoked on the upcoming nuptials.

UPDATE (7/10, 3:15 p.m. EDT): The Biebs has confirmed the rumours and declared his love for his new fiancée on Instagram. See his heartfelt post below.

Bieber's parents each posted vague messages of congratulations on social media, while Baldwin's dad (actor Stephen Baldwin) shared an equally cryptic Bible verse.

Here's hoping we get a TV special featuring the Biebs at the Baldwins' Thanksgiving dinner. It's sure to be a peaceful family gathering so long as politics, religion or Saturday Night Live don't come up in conversation.
