Kamasi Washington has been slowly but surely building up to his Heaven and Earth, and now the epic release is out among us. Right now, you can stream the entire two-part album.
As Washington previously explained, Earth represents "the world that I am a part of" and Heaven represents "the world that is part of me." All together, that amounts to 16 new tracks.
For the album, Washington enlisted instrumental help from his band the Next Step, as well as the West Coast Get Down. Other artists lending a hand are the likes of Thundercat, Terrace Martin, Ronald Bruner, Jr. and Cameron Graves.
Heaven and Earth marks the full-length follow-up to 2015's Epic, and you can stream the new album in full below.
Heaven and Earth is out now via Young Turks. As previously reported, Washington also has a long string of tour dates coming up, and you can see those all here.
