T-dot rap veteran and Universal A&R guy Kardinal Offishall is starting off the summer by issuing a new, sweaty club cut called "I'm a Star (Slow Down)."
Teaming the Toronto figure with producer DJ Snake, Kardi's new tune is dedicated to anyone up for some "dancefloor misbehaviour." Setting things up with a series of house and dancehall touchstones, from '90s-era synth work and laser-ray gunfire to fast claps and build-and-drop moments, the song should get the rapper's favourite "nuclear assassin" shaking it in no time.
