Although Karen O's 2014 album Crush Songs wasn't the opus we might have hoped for from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' frontwoman's first solo album, it was nevertheless a pleasant collection of rough archival acoustic demos, and now the track "Singalong" has gotten a video.
While most of Crush Songs is made up of the songwriter's solo, DIY experiments, this one takes a slightly more collaborative approach with its harmonized group vocals. The accompanying visuals tap into the collective feel-good vibes by showing vintage-style home movie footage of various people hanging out in New York.
