Kelela

"Untitled" (ft. Hak, prod. by Skrillex, Clams Casino)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 5, 2015

Kelela has apparently had to delay the release of her Hallucinogen EP, which was set to be released in May. Though the arrival time of that release is up in the air, a new collaboration between her and Ratking rapper Hak has surfaced through London's Gully Type radio show.

It's unclear what the track is called at present, but it's a hazy banger filled with air-whoosh synth sounds and snicketying hi-hat work. Interestingly, the beat was worked on by Skrillex and Clams Casino. Above this, Kelela offers up more than a few simmering scenarios ("I could do this all day, you could do me all night"), while Hak mixes sex and politics in his verse.

You'll find the full Gully Type show down below, with the Kelela and Hak collab coming in around the 1:21:10 mark.

Thanks to Pitchfork for the tip.

UPDATE: Gully Type have taken this particular radio show off of its Soundcloud page. Sorry, Kelela fans.
