After lifting the curtain on their seventh LP Loved early last month, KEN Mode have shared another track from the release.

Titled "Feathers & Lips," the song arrives alongside a music video. You can watch the Christopher Mills-directed clip, which makes use of jarring filters and transitions, in the player below.

KEN Mode guitarist/vocalist Jesse Matthewson said the following of the latest track's inspiration:

I've never understood why so many of the most aggressive and extreme/cruel political figures are also the least likely candidates to win in an actual fight. This isn't exclusive to either side of the spectrum. There's a hole in these people that is being filled with being a dick to and/or trying to control other humans with some of the most irrational bullshit. And their voices are always the ones being heard, because they tend to be yelling the loudest...

KEN Mode have also plotted a trio of Canadian tour dates in September, with more to be added in the coming weeks. Currently, the group perform in their native Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Calgary alongside Hamilton sludge outfit Shallow North Dakota. You can find a current itinerary below.

Loved is set to arrive August 31 through through New Damage/Season of Mist.

Tour dates:

09/28 Winnipeg, MB - The Good Will Social Club
09/29 Saskatoon, SK - The Black Cat Tavern
09/30 Calgary, AB - Palomino
