"Not Like Us" — the diss track and anti-Canada anthem in which Kendrick Lamar accuses Drake of being a pedophile — has won three Grammys and counting.
UPDATE (2/2, 11:32 p.m. ET): Make that five. "Not Like Us" won the prestigious Record of the Year and Song of the Year during the live broadcast.
As Lamar approached the stage for Record of the Year, the crowd audibly shouted along with the song's "A Minor" lyric.
Ahead of the live broadcast of the 2025 Grammy Awards, "Not Like Us" took home a pile of hardware: Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance and Best Music Video.
"Not Like Us" is also up for a couple of the biggest awards of the night: Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
In a way, Drake actually predicted this: in his Kendrick diss track "Family Matters," which shortly preceded "Not Like Us" (and is actually a pretty good song, albeit with a lot less staying power than "Not Like Us"), Drake rapped, "Kendrick just opened his mouth / Someone go hand him a Grammy right now." Evidently, the Grammys obliged.
The song is currently at the centre of a legal dispute, as Drake is suing Universal Music Group — both his and Lamar's label — for defamation and harassment over the song that calls him a pedophile.
