Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" Is Becoming a Global Anti-Canada Anthem

Both Team USA and Team Argentina used the song to troll Team Canada

Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" has emerged as something of an anti-Canada anthem. It dealt the knockout blow in Kendrick's feud with Drake, Rick Ross played it while brawling backstage in Vancouver, and now the US and Argentina are using it to celebrate victories over Team Canada.

The US and Canada's Olympic basketball teams played an exhibition game in Las Vegas, NV, last Wednesday (July 10). After the US won 86–72 — which frankly seems pretty close considering that the US has players like LeBron James and Stephen Curry — the Americans celebrated by blasting "Not Like Us" over the speakers in T-Mobile Arena.

Billboard points out that this follows a similar troll from the Argentinian soccer team. After Argentina beat 2–0 Canada on July 9 in the semifinals of the Copa América, the winners shared a "Not Like Us" graphic on social media.

Come on, everybody — it's fine to celebrate a victory, but do you need to do it with a song accusing Drake of being a pedophile?

Meanwhile, "Not Like Us" has returned to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 following the release of its music video.
